Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m so happy you’re here. 😊 If we haven’t met yet: I’m Sandy, a photographer with a passion for capturing dogs! I’ve been photographing our four-legged friends since 2009, but my journey into pet photography started even earlier.

How It All Began… Ever since I was a child, I loved taking pictures. I don’t remember exactly when I first picked up my mother’s camera, but from that moment on, I was hooked. In 2009, I realized I wanted to photograph dogs. At that time, I really wanted my own dog, but being a student, it wasn’t possible. So, I spent my time behind the camera, capturing as many dogs as possible—and that passion has only grown stronger over the years. 🐶📸
Why I’m Starting This Blog Photography is much more than just taking beautiful pictures—it’s about capturing emotions and personalities forever. I love showcasing each dog’s unique character through my work, and that’s exactly what I want to share with you here!
On this blog, you’ll find insights into my work, helpful tips for preparing your dog for a photoshoot, and lots of entertaining stories from my life as a pet photographer. Plus, you’ll also get to learn about my second passion: dog nutrition consulting. Because a healthy diet not only improves your dog’s well-being but also directly affects their energy and appearance in photos!

My Biggest Motivation: Dogs and Their Humans Every photoshoot is special to me. I love meeting new dogs—each with their unique personality, history, and charm. And the best part? Seeing my clients’ faces light up when they see their finished photos and fall in love with their dog all over again. That moment when a photo sparks real emotion is priceless.
One of my most touching experiences was a shoot with senior dogs last October. I photographed two elderly dogs who had been through long health battles. One was partially blind, and both had mobility issues. But as soon as we started, they came alive! They were so excited and full of joy—it was incredible to witness. The owners now cherish these photos as precious memories, and that’s exactly why I love what I do. ❤️
Why I Also Offer Dog Nutrition Consulting Photography is my first great passion—but in 2017, a second one was born. When my dog Hinata came into my life, I started learning everything I could about dog nutrition. I quickly realized I had made some mistakes in her diet that affected her health. Determined to do better, I deep-dived into the subject, and soon, more and more people around me started asking for advice. One thing led to another, and I decided to turn my knowledge into a professional service. Now, I can offer my clients not only stunning portraits but also valuable insights into their dog’s health and well-being.
Let’s Stay in Touch! I’m excited to share my experiences, tips, and inspiration with you here. If there’s a topic you’d love to know more about, let me know! Drop a comment or send me a message.
Now It’s Your Turn! What interests you the most—photography, dog nutrition, or both? I’d love to hear your thoughts! 💬🐕📸
